Context

Three quarters of staff reported persistent burnout in the Q4 pulse. Productivity research from our peer non-profits suggests a 4-day pilot can preserve output while reducing fatigue. Operating costs are flat under a compressed schedule.

Decision

Run a 12-week 4-day work week pilot starting April 1, 2026. Friday is off for the full team except a rotating on-call. Programme commitments and external SLAs are unchanged.

Action

Marcus drafts the on-call rota by March 7. Priya updates the staff handbook. Sarah communicates to the board at the March 21 meeting.
